If it is the latter, is there any possibility that unfair decisions are made due to the possible advantages and disadvantages of representations?

A27: Judges will decide on awards according to the general themes. Entries will be evaluated in terms of the appeal of the story, the creativeness of representation, and the comprehensive communication power. The three factors are closely-related and indispensable. The entries in competition must demonstrate the concept of “China position and International prospective”.

Q28. How does the final review take place, by election, online voting, or both? Isn’t online voting subject to fake voting? Once plagiarism is found, what measures will be taken?

A28: Adhering to the principles of fairness, justice, and transparency, the Organizing Committee is composed of experts from various fields including government, academia, industry, and media, and online voting is not available. The contest invites the Notary Office to monitor the final review and adopts a publicizing and reporting system for the winning works. Works being awarded in the contest will be publicized on the official website of the contest (a special webpage on China.org.cn) and related media for 15 days for public supervision and appraisal. In order to show seriousness, reporting adopts a real-name system (that is, real name is required), and necessary evidence (such as the copy of the copied work) shall be provided. Anonymous reporting is invalid. The Organizing Committee shall verify the report, give opinions, and make the final judgment.
