市井娱乐聚集地 最是人间烟火气
酒旗戏鼓天桥市，多少游人不忆家。近日，摩洛哥留学生周玉慕名来到位于北京市西城区的北京天桥文化艺术中心，这里是老北京民俗文化发扬和鼎盛之地。她和北京天桥民俗文化保护办公室主任赵兴力一起感受了老北京文化，深入体验到了老北京生活的闲适与美好。
With its tavern flags and drumming, the maker place of the Bridge of Heaven makes many a traveler forget home. Recently, Zhou Yu, a student from Morocco, visited Beijing Tianqiao Culture and Art Center, in Xicheng District, Beijing, a place where the old Beijing folk culture flourishes. Together with Zhao Xingli, Director of Tianqiao Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, Zhou Yu experienced the old Beijing culture and learnt the leisure and beauty of the old Beijing life.
北京天桥历史悠久，承载着丰富的文化传统，这里有民俗艺人的表演、传统小吃的味道以及古老艺术形式的传承。在天桥，你能感受到历史的厚重和市井的喧嚣。天桥虽被称为天子之桥，但它所以享有盛名至今，不是因为它曾为天子专属，而是因为这里是近两百年北京民俗文化、市井娱乐的集中地，民间艺术的发祥地。
As a historical site, the Bridge of Heaven carries a rich cultural tradition. It has both traces of royal architecture and is the hub of Beijing folk culture. In this area, you can feel the profoundness of history and the hustle and bustle of the marketplace, and the legacy of folk artists' performances, traditional snacks, and ancient art forms. Although the Bridge of Heaven is known as "the Bridge of the Son of Heaven", its fame today is not because it was once exclusive to the emperor, but because it has been the center of Beijing's folk culture and urban entertainment for nearly two hundred years, and the birthplace of folk art.
一大清早，周玉和赵兴力约在了老北京著名小吃店——护国寺小吃，想体验一顿地道的早餐。老北京豆汁儿是北京传统小吃之一，有300多年的历史。对于北京人来说，豆汁儿不仅是一种饮料，更是一种文化符号和传统习惯的体现。虽然现在很多年轻人接受不了豆汁儿的味道，但在过去，无论平民百姓还是达官显贵甚至皇家贵胄都爱这一口。
Early in the morning, Zhou Yu and Zhao Xingli met at Huguo Temple Snack, a famous old Beijing snack shop, to experience an authentic Beijing breakfast. Old Beijing bean juice is one of the most traditional drinks in Beijing with a history of 300 years, For people in Beijing, bean juice is not only a drink but also a cultural symbol and a manifestation of traditional habits. Although its flavor is not accepted by many young people now, but in the past, regardless of whether they are commoners, high-ranking officials, or even the royal palaces, they all love this taste.
在体验过老北京小吃后，赵兴力带周玉来到了天桥印象博物馆，这里是展现天桥历史和文化的窗口，博物馆还原了许多具有市井气、烟火气的老北京街景，还融入了许多现代科技元素，如AR动画、体感互动游戏。这里不仅是老天桥的缩影，更是民间艺术人才的摇篮。从清末年初到上世纪60年代，天桥共诞生了500多位民间艺术家。

This is not only a miniature of the old Bridge of Heaven, but also a cradle of folk art talents. From the late Qing Dynasty to the 1960s, the Heaven of Temple gave birth to more than 500 folk artists.
天桥最具有代表性的民间艺术便是“北京琴书”了，它“说似唱、唱似说”，唱腔中夹用说白，突出表现北京土言土语。在唱的同时，还会有扬琴、三弦、四胡等传统乐器进行配乐。赵兴力邀请到了著名“琴书泰斗”关学曾的弟子王树才先生进行表演，并教给周玉一些表演动作，周玉也有模有样模仿起来。
The most representative folk art of the Bridge of Heaven is "Beijing Qinshu", which is "speaking like singing, singing like speaking", both singing and speaking, highlighting the Beijing dialect. At the same time, while singing, there will be traditional musical instruments such as Yangqin, Sanxian, and Sihu providing musical accompaniment. Zhao Xingli invited Mr. Wang Shucai, the disciple of Guan Xuezeng, a renowned "master of Qinshu" drew inspiration from the singing style of Jingyun Dagu, to perform for Zhou Yu. Mr. Wang Shucai also taught Zhou Yu some performance movements, and Zhou Yu imitated them aptly.
王树才先生首先介绍了北京琴书的道具——鸳鸯板、鼓键子和书鼓，鸳鸯板有两片，击之有清脆之响，也因其成双成对而得名“鸳鸯”。鼓键子就是打鼓用的专业鼓键子，书鼓则是过去说大书使用的小鼓。随后，王树才先生穿上长衫，为大家现场演唱了一段自己改编的有关中轴线主题的唱段，唱调悠扬，余音绕梁。
Mr. Wang Shucai first introduced the props of Beijing Qinshu: mandarin duck boards, drum keys and book drums. The mandarin duck board has two pieces, which make a crisp sound when struck, and is also named "mandarin duck" because it comes in pairs. The drum key is the professional drum key used for drumming, and the book drum is the small drum used for storytelling of epic stories in the past. Dressed in a long gown, Mr. Wang Shucai performed a segment of his own adaptation live for everyone, related to the theme of the Central Axis of Beijing, with a melodious tune and lingering sound.
看过戏曲，天桥绝活更是一大特色。天桥绝活的表演形式非常多样化，有单人表演、多人表演、器械表演、杂技表演等，表演者们通过各种方式，展示他们的技艺和才华。
Like the opera, stunts are another feature of the Bridge of Heaven. The performance forms of these kinds stunts are very diverse, including solo performances, group performances, instrumental performances, and acrobatic shows. The performers show their skills and talents in various ways.
具有很长历史的吴家班表演了他们的绝活——口吞宝剑，周玉惊叹不已。吴家班班主、非遗传承人吴松友表示，练习绝活是非常辛苦的。行内人的常说“冬练三九夏练三伏”“平时多流汗战场上少流血”，只有具备这样的精神，他们这些天桥传统艺人才能不断发扬天桥文化，将天桥绝活的精髓展示给更多人，让全世界都能领略到中华民族传统文化的魅力。

随后，赵兴力带着周玉来到了可以俯瞰南中轴的好去处—永定门。这里是中轴线的最南端，周玉对中轴线的概念也变得清晰。

登上永定门城楼，南中轴的壮美景色尽收眼底，周玉不禁感慨万千——历史的厚重和市井的喧嚣一并体现在这座距今五百多年的天桥上。望着脚下规整繁盛的京城，历史在此刻跳跃着生命力，铺就一条连接过去和未来的道路。
Standing on the tower of Yongding Gate, Zhou Yu took in the grandeur of the southern Central Axis of Beijing, feeling deeply moved —— the profound history and the bustling city life are both embodied in the Bridge of Heaven, which has stood for over five hundred years. Gazing upon the well-ordered and prosperous capital below, history seemed alive and pulsating, paving a path that connects the past and the future.
