2009年，全球首届超声无创治疗临床国际峰会在中国重庆召开。中国首报全球肝癌、骨肿瘤、乳腺癌HIFU治疗存活10年病例。
In 2009, The first session of International Summit of Clinical Non-invasive Ultrasound Therapy was convened in Chongqing, China. The survival duration of liver cancer, bone tumor, and breast cancer patients treated by HIFU was first reported as 10 years.
2017年，由重庆医科大学、超声医疗国家工程研究中心开展的“十二五”国家支撑计划课题研究——“超声消融子宫肌瘤的前瞻性、多中心、同期非随机平行对照研究”，发布全球首个大样本循证医学研究成果。
